Frequently Asked QuestionsWe invite you to arrive 20 minutes before the start of your visit to Lascaux IV (last admission two hours before the site closes). For everyone’s comfort and safety, the following items are not permitted during the visit: large backpacks, dangerous objects, strollers, rigid baby carriers, and animals (with the exception of guide dogs). For more information, please see our FAQ.

The official Lascaux IV gift shop lets you continue your visit with a selection of souvenirs. Decorative items, books, toys… Discover a wide selection of products made in France and made in Périgord for all ages. You’ll also find products made by the Atelier des Fac-Similés du Périgord Noir. A great opportunity to take a piece of the cave home with you!

Closed areas
Due to technical, maintenance, or organizational constraints, certain secondary areas of Lascaux IV may be temporarily closed to the public. As these partial closures do not affect the essential experience of the site, they do not give rise to any refund or compensation. Visitors will, however, be informed of these closures and will be able to return within 48 hours to access these areas.
On December 2, the cinema will only be open from 2:00 PM.

Car Park
You have free access to the Lascaux IV car parks.
Car park P1 has spaces reserved for people with reduced mobility.
Car park P2 is specially designed for motorhomes.
Car park P3 is reserved for buses.Mobive charging stations are also available in parking lot P2 (payment with a Mobive card or bank card; information available at the ticket office and on the charging station).
